Youth and Community Led Monitoring
With the support of VSO Nepal, Association of Youth Organizations Nepal (AYON) conducted a day event on “Youth and Community-Led Monitoring” in Parsa (Province 2) and Surkhet (Karnali Province) with youth group members and community people at ward level.
The activity was conducted with the help of youth facilitators to identify ward level issues and problems in specific sectors.
Community members were asked if local level services were sensitive to gender minorities and gender issues. The community stakeholders used a community scorecard to rate the current status of gender sensitivity and set future goals to work towards more inclusive service delivery at the local level.
