Association of Youth Organizations Nepal (AYON), with the support of medico international, organized a ‘Feminist Dialogue and Self – Defence Training’ to discuss the achievements, dreams, challenges, and struggles of women at the local level and to train them to overcome those issues.
Around 30 participants from diverse background participated in the event held on 1st Septemeber,2018.
The aim of the training was to arm women with the skills in order to make them more confident to deal with physical harassment situations and help spread the knowledge with other peers and empower the young women.
Gender discrimination and Gender-based violence/ domestic violence were the issues addressed by the participants happening in their community.
