Association of Youth Organizations Nepal (AYON) is an award-winning national umbrella network of youth-led organizations, which acts as a platform for collaboration, cooperation, joint action and collective endeavors between youth organizations in Nepal. AYON currently has 92 youth led member organizations from 44 districts of Nepal. Working since 2005, AYON has pioneered in building capacity of youth and youth organizations, undertaking quality research, and carrying out meaningful advocacy to bridge youth voices at the decision making level. Our work and impact over the years has been recognized nationally and internationally. This has been possible through the team of awesome young people we work with. We are looking to expand our team members, and work together to make meaningful impact in the lives of young people and other communities that we work with.
AYON announces VACANCY for the following positions:
- Program Manager: Oversee overall management of programs, develop projects and reports, build partnership and lead the fundraising. Must have knowledge and experience of financial management and leading team of multiple staffs. Ability to lead a large number of volunteers, staffs as well as work independently. Program Manager must also have extensive knowledge and understanding of Human Rights and socio-political context, especially relating to inequality, discrimination and youth movement in Nepal.
Qualification: Minimum 5 years’ experience with Bachelors or Masters with 3 years’ experience in the relevant post at a similar level (preferably Social Science).
- Finance Officer: Serves in managing the overall administrative and financial tasks of the organization. Responsible for developing and executing best systems of financial and administrative management, documentation, monitoring, and reporting.
Qualification: Minimum Bachelors with 2-3 years of relevant experience (preferably Finance, Business Studies, Business Administration).
- Program Associate: Primary responsibility will be to support organizing programs, carrying out advocacy initiatives, as well as documentation, reporting and event management. Program associate will also help in coordinating with youth participants, volunteers, interns and member organizations in AYON’s programs as relevant.
Qualification: Intermediate with 1 year of experience in relevant work. (Preferably Social Science).
