"Youth & Development" Youth Photo Contest
Guidelines and Criteria
- The photographs should be on "Youth & Development" Theme. Here we encourage photographs that reflect needs, aspiration and contribution of youth.
- The participant should be youth people aged 16-35 years.
- The standard size of the photograph should be 8X12 (B/W 7X9).
- Photographs taken by digital cameras are also accepted (the quality should be good enough for publication)
- The negatives/ slides and CDs must also be submitted.
- Only photographs taken in Nepal will be entertained in the competition.
- The contestants can submit a maximum of only two photographs.
- Photos must be the individual work of the named entrant and must not have been previously published
- Copyrights of the selected 5 best photographs will remain with AYON for 1 year and may not be used for commercial purposes or entered in other competitions within that period.
- The negatives of the best 5 photographs will be returned after a period of one year effective from the date of exhibition.
- The photography competition is a charitable event and thus no payment in form of royalty or otherwise will be made to any participant. The winning photograph will be used as cover page of the AYON publication.
- The submitted photographs will remain with AYON after the competition and can be put up in various exhibitions and publications regarding youth, and youth development with due credit to the photographer.
- AYON may accept or reject any photograph submitted to it in its sole and absolute discretion.
