Inclusion doesn’t mean the creation of new policies or rights for anyone, it seeks equal participation and changing the perspective on making those policies.
Association of Youth Organizations Nepal (AYON) in collaboration with ENGAGE organized a dialogue series on ” Youth & Disability ” on 14th May 2018, where around 30 participants were involved in an interaction session regarding the opportunities and challenges of a person with disability in Inclusion.
The dialogue made the participants aware of the new ‘Disability Act’ formed by the Nepal Government for the person with disability.
The main aim of the dialogue was to promote social inclusion and create equal opportunities for a person with disability. Also, to focus on raising national awareness on the disability rights/acts with the dissemination and internalization of the new Act.
